The nature of OSC’s core competencies are inherently sustainable practices. However, OSC exceeds the industry standards and is committed to the development and implementation of new ideas.

In most circumstances, materials generated from demolition sites, which were historically considered waste, can be reused or recycled. OSC’s work practices maximize the recovery of salvageable materials and the recycling of reusable materials, both while minimizing the volume of waste generated, thereby reducing the impact to our environment and minimizing costs.

OSC’s equipment fleet consists primarily of late-model, low-emissions units. Not only do these Tier 3 and Tier 4 powered machines provide a more sustainable solution, but their fuel economy and GPS – driven diagnostic monitoring provide reduced costs and maximize productivity.  Additionally, based on market availability, OSC uses blended biodiesel fuels.
OSC has developed a line of lithium ion construction equipment, which is more powerful and more cost effective than comparable diesel equipment. The initial products are a mini excavator and an electric light tower.

Turning liabilities into opportunities, OSC actively seeks out opportunities to purchase Brownfield properties for the purposes of redevelopment.
